Expert sand molded casting with SG Iron and Cast Iron capabilities - precision components built for durability and premium national industrial standards.
Sand casting is one of the most widely used metal casting processes. At Metalac Industries, we have mastered this process to deliver high-quality components that meet exacting dimensional tolerances and surface finish requirements.
A mold is created from a sand mixture packed around a pattern. Molten metal is poured into the cavity and allowed to solidify before the mold is broken to retrieve the finished casting.
Our facility features a Rhino sand mixer for superior mold quality and dimensional consistency.
A pattern (replica of the final component) is created with appropriate allowances for shrinkage and machining.
Sand is packed around the pattern to create consistent, high-density molds.
Internal cavities are formed using cores produced in our Multiple Core Shooter Machines for complex geometries.
Molten metal is prepared in our induction furnace and poured into the mold cavity under controlled conditions.
After solidification, the casting is removed and cleaned via Shot Blasting to remove residual sand and scale.
Each casting is inspected in our Chemical, Physical, and Sand Testing Labs for dimensional accuracy and mechanical properties.
